Meet me... Paul Tebbatt

As part of our 'Meet Me' series, we're asking the DB team some quick questions to give you all an idea of who's behind the curtain at DB HQ! Our Technical Director, Paul Tebbatt is in the spotlight today. Here's Paul's answers...

How long have you been a Technical Director and what drew you to this role?

It wasn’t something that I set out to become, in fact as a kid I’m not sure many of them existed. With the experience I have had within the business and prior to working at Digital Balance it became a bit of a natural progression. It allows me to not only be involved in the technical aspects of development but also draw upon my experience as a teacher to help the team progress. I have been in the role for nearly 2 years.

What is your favourite movie, game or album?

Favourite Movie: Too difficult to choose depends on the mood. Though if Back to the Future is on I will always watch it.
Favourite Game: The Last of Us. Then Closely followed by the Uncharted series. I’m a casual gamer at best to be fair.
Favourite Album: Too many, but to name a few Pearl Jam-  Ten and Yield, Foo Fighters - The Colour and the Shape, Siamese Dream The Smashing Pumpkins.

Who is your favourite band?

Pearl Jam

What is your zombie apocalypse survival plan?

Too long to discuss to be honest, but it is there and not sure I want anyone to steel it. Safe to say I’d probably go “Full Rick” and try and get back to my family.

What is your favourite thing about working at Digital Balance?

Get to work with some “cool” people and work on interesting projects for some awesome clients. It’s a challenge, no day is ever the same for me.

How many slices of pizza do you think you can eat in one sitting?

15
